You perceive an omen about the results of a course of action a creature within range plans to take in the near future. Exotic materials like Mandrake root, scented oils from distant lands, or soil from a famous diviner’s grave provide improved foresight, allowing you to glimpse up to 90 days into the future, as shown on the table below.

Rather than using material components, you can use a focus item such as a set of bones or a deck of cards worth at least 25 gp. Focus items are not consumed in the spellcasting and can be reused.

The spell doesn’t account for circumstances, such as other spells or random chaos, which might change the results.
If you cast the spell more than once before finishing a Long Rest, there is a cumulative 25 percent chance for each casting after the first that you get no answer.
