Exorcism (Alternate Dispel Evil and Good)

Level 5 Abjuration

Casting Time: Action
Range:ÂSelf
Components:ÂV, S, F (sheet of tin or seven olive branches), M (oil of unripe olives, mastigia herb, lotus fruit, marjoram)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

For the duration, Celestials, Elementals, Fey, Fiends, and Undead have Disadvantage on attack rolls against you. You can end the spell early by using either of the following special functions.

Break Enchantment. As a Magic action, you touch a creature that is possessed by or has the Charmed or Frightened condition from one or more creatures of the types above. The possessing creature must make a Charisma saving throw with Disadvantage. On a failure, you can demand to know who, if anyone, sent the creature and what reason the creature may have for possessing, charming, or frightening the target. After the creature reveals this information, the target is no longer possessed, Charmed, or Frightened by the creature.

In the case of possession, you can choose to force a creature that fails its saving throw to possess another creature such as a pig, horse, or goat, or even a prepared object, such as a figurine or doll. The creature or object to be possessed must be within 10 feet of the original target. You can then kill the newly possessed creature or destroy the object, sending the possessing creature back to its home plane if it isn’t there already.

If the creature succeeds on the saving throw, this spell ends without effect. A creature that makes the save will often attack you.

Dismissal. As a Magic action, you target one creature you can see within 5 feet of you that has one of the creature types above. The target must succeed on a Charisma saving throw or be sent back to its home plane if it isn’t there already. If they aren’t on their home plane, Undead are sent to the Shadowfell, and Fey are sent to the Feywild.
